On April 25, the full text of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Shandong Province and the Outline of 2035 Long-range Goals was published on the website of Shandong Provincial People's Government.
During the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), the construction of the four horizontal and five vertical transport corridors was accelerated. The Ji-Qinghai-Xizang High-speed Railway and the South Shandong High-speed Railway were successively opened to traffic, and the length of high-speed railways in the province reached 2,110 km. The mileage of urban rail transit opened to traffic reached 339 kilometers, and Jinan and Qingdao entered the subway era.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the construction of a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network will be accelerated:
1. Build comprehensive transport corridors for connectivity. Docking national comprehensive traffic layout, plan as a whole railway, aviation, highways, waterways, such as urban rail transportation, improve improve the northern coastal, Qingdao, shandong, southern shandong, etc in the channel function, improve the east coast, the beijing-shanghai, beijing-kowloon, beijing-shanghai auxiliary, lies at the north and south channel effectiveness, such as building as a whole, clearing linkage, on land or sea ability adequately "four five longitudinal transverse" comprehensive transport corridor.
We will optimize the layout of "2+4+N" comprehensive transport hubs with multi-point linkage, regional drive and interconnected interaction, continue to improve the international service functions of hubs in Jinan and Qingdao and the national service functions of hubs in Yantai, Weifang, Linyi and Heze, cultivate a number of regional comprehensive transport hubs, and enhance the industrial agglomeration and radiation capacity of hubs.
2. Build a high-quality high-speed rail transit network. With the goal of "high-speed rail connecting cities and cities", China will promote the integration of trunk railways, intercity railways, urban (suburban) railways and urban rail transit.
The project to connect trunk railways has been carried out, and high-speed railway projects such as the South Shandong High-speed Railway, the Shandong section of the auxiliary corridor of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, and the Shandong section of the Xiongshang-Shang High-speed Railway have been built, thus opening the main arteries of the corridor.
We will improve the freight railway network and tap the potential of existing freight railway transport capacity. We will accelerate the construction of the Dailailong project to expand and renovate the railway network, unblock the bottleneck sections of the road network, improve feeder railways with open ports and garden areas, and open up the "last kilometer" of railway transport.
We will study and formulate a new round of plans for the construction of intercity railways in the Shandong Peninsula City Clan, rationally distribute intercity railway lines and stations, give full play to the existing railway potential, and promote the operation of urban (suburban) trains in Jinan, Qingdao and other cities.
We carried out the urban rail transit planning and construction projects in Jinan and Qingdao in an orderly manner. By 2025, the length of high-speed railways in service will reach 4,400 kilometers.
