The Weiyan Railway Bid 3 contracted by China Railway Bridge Bureau has a total length of 28.73 kilometers and passes through two county-level cities of Zhaoyuan and Longkou. The Zhaoyuan section has a total length of 8.842 kilometers, including 5 bridges and 204 beams (the direction of the first one).

The continuous beam across Zhaoxin Expressway is the control project of Zhaoyuan section. As the Zhaoxin Expressway is the main traffic road, the daily traffic flow is large, which brings great safety risks to the site construction. In addition, there are many types of beams, intensive layout, large concrete volume, and high technical requirements. In order to ensure the safety of continuous beam construction, the project department optimizes the construction organization plan, allocates resources rationally, strictly controls the process, and dispatches special personnel to guide the traffic to ensure the effective connection of the procedures; strengthen the disclosure of safety technology and pouring technology, and organize technical personnel from time to time to carry out posts Skill training and strict guarantee of construction quality.

The Zhaoyuan section passes through Xinzhuang Town and Zhangxing Town, and there are many enterprises and residential areas along the route. In order to minimize the impact of construction on the surrounding people and the environment, the project department has set up movable sound barriers, implemented daily dust-proof and noise-reduction measures, and practiced the concept of green construction.

In April 2022, due to the requirements of epidemic control, Zhaoyuan City began to implement closed management, and the project also pressed the "pause button". After the resumption of work, in order to recover the progress of the impact of the epidemic as soon as possible, the project department implemented 24-hour uninterrupted construction in three shifts on the basis of strict implementation of epidemic prevention measures; managed the site personnel by area, and established a ledger for the personnel entering the site. The temperature of personnel was checked, health codes and itinerary codes were checked, and at the same time, the “smart construction site” app was used to conduct flow adjustment of personnel information... Finally, 10 days after the resumption of work, the project department quickly realized the connection of the Zhaoyuan section of the line.

Weifang Railway is located in Weifang, Qingdao and Yantai in the northeastern part of Shandong Province, with a total length of 237.3 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. An important part of the high-speed rail channel in the middle and coastal areas. After the completion of the project, it will make up for the shortcomings of high-speed railway development in the Jiaodong Peninsula area, build a ring-shaped high-speed railway network in the Jiaodong Peninsula, promote the integration of the Jiaodong economic circle, create a peninsula city cluster on the track, and promote the development of local transportation and tourism industries along the line. Rapid economic growth is of great significance. After the opening of the Weiyan Railway, it will speed up the interconnection of the Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration, creating a high-quality traffic circle in 1 hour for Jiaodong Peninsula, 2 hours in the province, and 3 hours in Beijing.
