Liuxi River Bridge



As a key project of the 13th Five-Year Plan for the development of the comprehensive transportation system in Guangdong Province, Congpu Expressway is an important part of the transportation trunk line in the northern part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Among them, the Liuxi River Bridge built by the China Railway Bridge Bureau is one of the control projects of the Congpu Expressway project. The main bridge of the bridge uses a continuous rigid frame to span the Liuxi River. It is 16.5 meters wide and has a total of 128 sections. It is constructed using the hanging basket suspension pouring process. The maximum beam weight of the cantilevered beam section is 199.2 tons.


There are many challenges in engineering construction, and the strength of institutional construction


The total length of the SG01 contract section of the Congpu Expressway is 2.3 kilometers. The project construction lines are concentrated, there are many types of bridges, and there are many construction disturbances. In addition, Liuxi River is an important drinking water source protection area and ecological environment protection area in Guangzhou. During the construction process of the bridge, many requirements such as ecological environment protection and soil and water conservation must be strictly implemented.



The project department adopts the key control and full-time leadership responsibility system in the entire construction process. Through the advanced planning of the bridge construction, the construction team is arranged to enter the site as soon as possible, the construction of temporary facilities is accelerated, and the normal construction capacity is quickly formed. At the same time, during the construction process, the project department reasonably arranged the parallel operation of each construction process, and rationally arranged the construction of the lower structure according to the construction progress plan of the superstructure of the construction bridge. By adopting a mud treatment machine for the construction of the bridge pile foundation, diverting the construction sewage and setting up a permanent sedimentation tank for secondary treatment, collecting bridge drainage, filtering and then discharging, etc., the construction pollution has been effectively prevented from affecting the water quality of Liuxi River. The harmonious coexistence between the project construction and the natural environment has been realized.

The closure of the Liuxi River Bridge will open up a key link for the opening of the Congpu Expressway next year. After the Congpu Expressway is completed and opened to traffic, it will serve as a new north-south channel constructed in the Guangzhou area, connecting with a number of east-west expressways and national and provincial highways. , improve the expressway network in northeastern Guangzhou, further strengthen the traffic connection between Conghua area, Sino-Singapore Knowledge City and Nansha Free Trade Zone, and relieve the traffic pressure on the North Street Expressway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Guangzhou Ring Expressway.
