The Minjiang Super Bridge is the eastern part of the Ningbo Bypass Highway. The main span of the bridge is 468m. It is designed as a two-way 8-lane highway. The double rhombus tower design of the bridge is currently unique in China. Our company undertook the pile foundation project of the main bridge pier, with a total diameter of 2.2m and a bore length of 123m. The bored cast-in-situ piles totaled 140, and 25m into the weak weathered rock.
