The Maputo Bridge in Mozambique spans the Gulf of Maputo and is located on the main road south of Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, heading south to South Africa and the Casa Commercial border crossing in southern Mozambique. The total length of the bridge is 3.011km, of which the main bridge is a single span 680m suspension bridge. The vertical span ratio of the main cable is 1/10. The main bridge stiffening beam adopts an orthotropic plate streamlined flat steel box.
