Recently, the large-diameter pipe jacking of the discharge outlet of the CNOOC Jiangsu Binhai LNG Project, which was constructed by CCCC Second Navigation Bureau, was connected through two lines.
The project is located in Binhai County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. The main construction contents include building a new 2,510-meter-long wave-break and sand-retaining embankment, building a new seawater intake pump room, one drainage drop well, and laying intake and drainage pipelines and other ancillary works. Among them, the water intake adopts the pipe jacking construction and mud-water balance process, the diameter of the pipe jacking is 2.8 meters, and the drainage adopts the combined construction of the jacking pipe and the immersed pipe, and the pipe diameter is 2.6 meters. During the entire jacking process of breaking the brick wall, crossing the embankment, and entering the seabed, after a multi-process cycle of "jacking, welding, testing, and monitoring", the two "steel dragons" finally reached the designated position accurately.
Among them, the construction of drainage pipe jacking is more risky than the construction of water intake pipe jacking. The buried depth of the drainage jacking pipe is shallow, the head of the pipe jacking machine in the shoal area is very easy to float during the jacking process, and there are many obstacles such as riprap and old pile foundations at the axis of the jacking pipe. The project department of CCCC Second Aviation Bureau reduced the risk of jacking through measures such as chipping away the sheet pile wall, salvaging the stones at the axis of the pipe jacking, and pulling out the anti-wave pile, and finally completed the construction task as planned.
The smooth implementation of the project will speed up the industrial transformation of Binhai County, further increase the supply of LNG resources in East China, and provide assistance to supplement the natural gas market gap in Jiangsu and Anhui and optimize the energy structure of the entire East China region.
