After more than 10 hours of continuous pouring, the last bored pile of No. 3 main pier of Xuteng Foundation G3 Bridge - No. 62 pile was successfully poured. So far, the construction of the pile foundation for the No. 3 main pier of the bridge has been completed. This is also the first main pier of the G3 Bridge to complete the pile foundation construction.

The G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge is located about 720 meters upstream of the Tongling Yangtze River Highway Bridge. The main bridge across the river has a main span of 988 meters. As soon as the bridge crosses the river, the No. 3 main pier constructed by our company has a total of 68 bored piles, each with a diameter of 3 meters and a pile length of 95 meters. Excavation and drilling graded expansion drilling into hole technology construction. From the start of drilling on January 16 to the completion of April 19, the 68 bored piles were completed in only 94 days, 31 days ahead of the planned construction period, setting a new record for the construction of super-large diameter and super-long depth drilled piles on the Yangtze River.

"The platform of nine floors starts from the tired soil". In order to ensure the smooth construction of large-diameter bored piles, Xuteng Foundation, under the correct leadership and command of the Fourth Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway Bridge Bureau, led the project department to work in teams, increased resource allocation and coordination, and invested in the most advanced XR780E and other large-scale rotating piles. Six drilling rigs were constructed at the same time, and the construction process was optimized, which significantly improved the hole-forming efficiency. At the same time, it also increased the training of construction personnel and on-site disclosure, which greatly improved the proficiency of workers and greatly shortened the installation time of steel cages. The drilling time for bored piles was shortened from the initial 231 hours to 79 hours, and the installation of the reinforcement cage was shortened from the initial 51 hours to 13 hours. The completion of the construction of the bored piles for the main pier provides a reliable construction period guarantee for the subsequent construction of the cofferdam and cap.
The G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge is one of the river-crossing passages planned in the Layout Plan for the Trunk Line of the Yangtze River Crossing the River (2020-2035), and it is the implementation of the national “One Belt, One Road”, the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Yangtze River Delta integrated development strategy. It is also a major infrastructure construction project in Anhui Province. It is an important project for Tongling to be based on the Yangtze River Economic Belt and to accelerate its integration into the Hefei metropolitan area and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. After completion, it will be of great significance for building a copper development belt, comprehensively promoting the construction of an international cultural tourism demonstration zone in southern Anhui, accelerating the coordinated development of regional economy, strengthening the interconnection of the Yangtze River Delta, and building a modern comprehensive transportation system.
