On May 5th, the construction of the foundation and substructure of the bridge of Pingtian Expressway 4, which was constructed by CCCC Second Harbor Bureau, was completed, marking the staged victory of the project and laying a solid foundation for the opening of the Pingtian Expressway to traffic.

Pingtian Expressway starts from Pingtang County, Guizhou Province, and connects Nantian Expressway and Tianba Expressway to Tian'e County, Guangxi. The design speed is 100 kilometers per hour. It adopts the standard construction of two-way 6-lane expressway. The main line is 59 kilometers long, including 24 bridges. , 13 tunnels, the bridge-to-tunnel ratio of the whole line is 42.5%.

The 4th bid section undertaken by CCCC Second Navigation Bureau is located in Tian'e County. The main line is 7.6 kilometers long, including 1 extra-large bridge, 1 bridge and 12 ramp bridges. During the construction of the project, faced with difficulties such as large fluctuations in terrain height within the construction area of the bridge, difficult construction of access roads and narrow construction work area, difficult excavation of foundation pits due to bridges crossing mountain river channels, large number of high piers and dense points, etc. The project department of the Second Aviation Administration of China has established a bridge attacking team, which is specially responsible for organizing the construction of bridges in the bidding section, brainstorming, adapting measures to local conditions, and completing the construction tasks of the substructure of the bridge with high quality and efficiency.

After the project is completed, it will form a convenient channel between Guiyang, Hechi, Nanning and other places, effectively improve the transportation capacity of Guizhou and Guangxi, and promote regional economic and social development.
