On the morning of November 13, with the smooth pouring of 13-9, the pile foundation of the main bridge of Xiangjiang River Bridge was completed.

The main pier of Xiangjiang River Bridge is No. 11 to No. 14, with a total of 60 pile foundations, each with a diameter of 2.5 meters and the longest pile length of 82.5 meters. The geological structure of the bridge construction area is extremely complex, which belongs to the geology of strong karst development under high water head in the reservoir area. The depth of beaded karst caves is up to 50 meters, and the construction of pile foundation is very difficult. Faced with the construction problems, the team of the project department united as one and pooled their wisdom. They held several expert review meetings focusing on the drilling process, karst cave backfilling, steel casing follow-up and hole bottom exploration, etc., to discuss solutions, organize personnel training, optimize the construction organization plan, overcome the material shortage caused by the epidemic, and finally successfully completed all pile foundation pouring tasks.

The completion of the pouring of the main bridge pile foundation marked a new stage of the construction of the bridge and greatly encouraged the morale of the project. Next, the project department will be more ambitious, go all out to sprint the annual construction task.
