The new Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway starts from Fuzhou in the north, passes through Putian and Quanzhou, and ends in Xiamen and Zhangzhou in the south. Construction started in September 2017, with a designed speed of 350 km and a total length of 277.42 km. The main line has a total of 8 stations, and it is an important part of the coastal passage of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network.



The section from Fuzhou South Railway Station (including) to Qingtanxi Bridge (excluding) is part of Fuxia Section 1 contracted by China Railway Bridge Bureau. The main line is 15.946 km long, including Bridges and culverts, tunnels, subgrade and station yard works. 25 Bridges and culverts with a total length of 8998 meters; 14 tunnels with a total length of 14,776 meters; The total length of subgrade and yard is 7971 meters. The project is adjacent to many construction sites of business lines, and intersects with existing railways, expressways and many urban roads for many times. The new Yunju Mountain tunnel group has small clear distance and many three-dimensional cross sections. There are many geomorphic units, fault joint development, lithology and geological structure along the route, which have a great influence on the construction.

Wulongjiang Bridge is a key control project of the whole line of the newly built Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway. With a total length of 739.9 meters and a main span of 432 meters, it is a four-line railway cable-stayed bridge with asymmetric high-low tower.

The Wulong River Bridge spans the existing National Highway 324, Fuping Railway and Hangshen Railway Bridge, and is located between several parallel existing Bridges. The distance between the existing Bridges on both sides is only 50 meters and 95 meters respectively. The construction site is small and the safety risk is high. The bridge spans the Wulong River, and its two main piers are located in deep water, with the deepest depth reaching 20 meters. The maximum height difference of the riverbed is up to 19 meters, and there is no overburden at the main pier, which is large block stone or exposed bedrock with high bedrock strength and large rock slope. Therefore, the construction of temporary facilities such as trestle, platform and steel cofferdam, as well as the construction of bored pile and cap of pier foundation are relatively difficult.

In the face of complex construction conditions, the project department adhering to the construction concept of "high-quality engineering, intelligent Fu-building", the application of advanced BIM technology, through the application of BIM model and platform, not only to achieve the construction process simulation, disclosure, collision and other information visualization, visualization, but also through the application of the platform to achieve progress, resources, engineering quantity, construction process control information. Through the application of modern equipment such as tower crane, hydraulic climbing mold, bridge deck crane and intelligent monitoring system, it provides a better guarantee for creating high-quality projects.

The new Yunjushan Tunnel is 1669.82 meters long. Under the entrance section of the tunnel is the existing Fuzhou-Xiamen bullet train station, and about 65 meters below the exit section is the G324 National Highway. The operation area is narrow and close to the existing line, and it has the characteristics of "upper span and lower penetration" and "small clear distance".

The hydrogeological conditions of tunnel engineering are complicated and there are many construction risks. Not only the existing municipal highway Qingliangshan tunnel (the minimum clear distance is about 1.8 meters), but also the new Yunju Mountain No. 3 tunnel (the minimum clear distance is about 4.5 meters), which is also under construction. The construction of the whole line is close to the existing railway and highway sections, so the safety risks are extremely high. In particular, under the entrance section of the tunnel is the existing Fuzhou-Xiamen bullet train station, and about 65 meters below the exit section is the G324 National Highway. The site is small and resources are limited, so two auxiliary adits, transverse tunnel and inclined shaft, are adopted for tunneling. The tunnel entrance section is a long-span section with a maximum structural width of 21 meters. The tunnel exit section and the New Yunjushan No. 4 tunnel are small-distance sections with a minimum distance of 1.13 meters. Inclined shaft and outlet undertake 877 meters, accounting for 52.5% of the total length of the tunnel.

In the process of tunnel construction, the project department optimizes the construction scheme, reasonably arranges the three-dimensional cross-operation construction procedure of the new Yunju Mountain tunnel group, and strictly implements the principle of "pipe advance, strict grouting, weak blasting, short penetration, early closure, diligence measurement and tight lining" during construction. Adhering to the Southeast Coastal Railway Fujian Co., LTD. "eight high, nine construction" and "quality project, intelligent Fu-Xiamen" construction concept, organize fast construction. The application of advanced tooling technology, automatic section scanner, two lining intelligent concrete pouring early warning and protection system, two lining window into the mold plus belt mold grouting system and automatic maintenance system to ensure the quality of construction, to achieve solid inside and beautiful outside; The existing railway is comprehensively monitored by means of information technology. The three-arm rock drilling trolley + drilling and splitting trolley machinery and controlled blasting excavation are adopted, which has a high degree of mechanization and greatly improves the construction speed.

After the newly built Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway is opened to traffic, Fuzhou and Xiamen will realize the "one-hour life circle", and the "Golden Triangle" of Xiamen, Quanzhou and Zhangzhou in southern Fujian will form the "half-hour traffic circle", and realize the "high-speed rail to Beijing" in the true sense of Zhangzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Putian and other coastal cities. The construction of the new Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway will further improve the high-speed railway network along the southeast coast, which has important social and economic significance for opening up the large high-speed railway corridor along the Southeast coast, building a modern comprehensive transportation system and promoting the construction of new urbanization along the line.
